In partnership with local companies the path in automation and mechatronic systems
Dall’Era Valerio has joined the ITS project in mechatronics promoted by Confindustria Brescia. The path sees the sensitization of industries and institutions in the territory for the training of professional figures increasingly strategic. As usual, companies, including Dall’Era Valerio, are involved on a dual track, both expressing interest in a future job placement and in the implementation of educational activities. In fact, we have advanced the interest of increasing the workforce with a mechatronic technician in the next three years. In addition, we have also made ourselves available to carry out the training activities in the plant.
The third two-year ITS course for automation and industrial mechatronic systems started at the Territorial Laboratory for Employability in Lonato del Garda. On October 21, 2020, students and teachers attended the presentation given by Raffaele Crippa, director of the ITS Lombardia Mechatronics Foundation, Stefania Battaglia, IIS Cerebotani school manager, and Laura Galliera, head of education and human capital at Confindustria Brescia.
The ITS training project of 2020-2021 hosts 24 students who have passed the selections to attend the two-year training course, a commitment in the classroom and beyond. In fact, the students are also called to carry out training activities by measuring themselves in a concrete job at the partner companies. Dall’Era will also host students for an apprenticeship that can see the practical application of the activities learned in the classroom.
The ITS path for automation and industrial mechatronic systems is an alternative to the University and is recognized at European level. It is a training course for people specialized in automation that companies like Dall’Era have shown to appreciate for the duality of teaching, the theoretical part and the practical part. It is in fact a project inspired by the German model with a study plan that provides a teaching quota of around 50% coming from companies and an on-the-job training of 800 hours. The goal is the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical activity.
A training process of professional figures to be included in the workforce is increasingly strategic in our industrial policy. Dall’Era Valerio is a qualified supplier of the most important multinationals and industries in the refrigeration, taps and fittings, valves, sanitary plumbing and gas sectors. This involves a level of customization of the brass nuts and a very wide range of brass fittings and components solutions that require automation. Our workers and technicians must know how to manage the production process through a strict production quality specification and with the ability to work with a fleet of latest generation CNC machines.
