Brass components up to 3 inches, conforming to strict environmental protocols for the market of gas, refrigeration, water and valve systems..
In view of the investments made to improve the production process, we have introduced an advanced multi-sensor ZEISS O-INSPECT machine
Dall’Era Valerio works with a high quality standard applying precise production methodologies. The technical department designs nuts and many types of brass bodies according to customers’ drawings, guaranteeing the desired technical specifications. The respect of a strict internal quality protocol provides for the verification through our metrological laboratory. This allows the products to be monitored and guarantees the highest quality. Verification data is documented according to the standards required by both international regulations and customers.
The control of our brass nuts and fittings is essential to keep production monitored. The sample control allows to keep the quality high and to avoid that the defects of the pieces, even the most difficult to detect with the usual tools, can lower the overall efficiency of the system in which they will be inserted. For this reason, the metrological laboratory in Dall’Era has become a fundamental step in the production process of the part made to the customer’s specifications. Our goal is to achieve a reject rate close to zero: we are already able to obtain a reject rate close to zero of parts considered unsuitable: that is, we have been able to reduce the number of defective parts to a few units per million of nuts and fittings produced.
Therefore, the precision of the parts produced is reflected in their actual use within complex plants and structures, often made up of dozens or hundreds of other components. The stress that the elements of a plant or machinery undergo represents a focal point, because the defect of a component can cause a general inefficiency over time. For these reasons, our products must ensure high operational functionality and defect-free production. With this in mind, we have recently introduced an advanced machine in our in-house metrology lab, called ZEISS O-INSPECT, which is among the best in the world.
Our metrology laboratory has been equipped with a ZEISS O-INSPECT multisensor machine, which allows a perfect view of all the characteristics of our brass nuts and fittings. The quality control chain is thus strengthened by a three-dimensional measuring instrument combined with optics for very high image definition, in compliance with ISO-10360 directives. The laser pointer at the center of the lens simplifies the mapping of the part. Thus, a machine that allows you to optimally measure each feature optically or by contact. You get a result in terms of accuracy and also reduced measuring time. The part is monitored even in the most peripheral areas and at multiple points.
